Psych for Sore Eyes is a double-7” EP showcasing six different artists with six different takes on the term “psychedelia”. It’s out February 18 via Sonic Cathedral, and every track was mastered by Spacemen 3’s Sonic Boom. “High Low” is a dreamy shoegaze song by the West Palm Beach group the Band in Heaven. Sonically, there’s not a lot going on— two chords and a relatively plain vocal melody— but they still manage to establish a build with their percussion.
